3i Infotech Billing & Payments Promotes First-Mover Advantages of Mobile Check Deposit at the 2011 RDC Summit

Industry Leader Details Customer Adoption and Retention Edge for Mobile Check Deposit at Key Industry Event

Orlando, FL – Sept. 28, 2011 – 3i Infotech Billing & Payments, a leading provider of software and solutions for the end-to-end corporate revenue chain, announced today that it will be outlining how organizations can build a business case for Mobile Check Deposit at the 2011 Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) Summit. Highlighting the fact that first movers have a significant advantage over financial institutions that wait to implement the service, 3i Infotech will be demonstrating how banks, credit unions, and other organizations can gain significant traction with customers before Mobile Check Deposit becomes a standard offering that consumers come to expect. 3i Infotech will be located at booth #3, at the 2011 Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) Summit.

Mobile Check Deposit addresses the top priorities of many financial institutions in this current uncertain climate: customer retention and acquisition. Research by the Mercatus and Pew Research Centers have shown that Mobile Check Deposit is likely to attract and keep customers and that a bank’s most valuable customers are those that are most likely to use Mobile RDC. Financial institutions that choose to wait on implementing Mobile Check Deposit risk losing a competitive advantage.

Along with Mobile Check Deposit, 3i Infotech will be discussing its full suite of RDC solutions at the Summit. Offerings include: Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Mobile Check Deposit, a hosted version of the software to help reduce upfront costs and implementation time; RDC for the Consumer, available through a standard TWAIN scanner; and eCapture, an integrated check scanning device for one or more remote locations. Visitors to the booth can learn more about these offerings, as well as insights and case studies related to the company’s RDC solutions, deployment and return on investment.

The RDC Summit 2011 takes place September 28-30, 2011, in Orlando, Florida. The summit focuses on trends, issues and innovations that address the Remote Deposit Capture and Payments industry. Subject-matter experts, industry leaders and practitioners attend RDC Summit to explore in-depth analysis of the leading developments, progress, best practices and lessons learned across the industry.
